Intermediate Handmade Class

Tall forms, lids, handles and surface decoration for makers ready to stretch further.

Intermediate Handmade Class

About This Course

For makers who can already center and pull. Six weeks of taller forms, lidded jars, spouts and pulled handles, with trimming, carving and slip decoration woven through every session.

You will design and glaze a coordinated set — mugs, bowls or pourers — and learn how consistent sizing, clean feet and confident handles lift everyday ware.

What is covered: tall cylinders and bottle forms, lids that fit, spouts and pulled handles, trimming and carved decoration, glaze layering and two kiln firings.

What Your Fee Covers

Open, lift and curve the walls into cups and bowls, learning to read thickness by touch.

Trim & Finish

Turn leather-hard ware, carve foot rings, attach handles and sign your bases.

Glaze & Fire

Layer studio glazes on bisque ware and join firing morning — collection follows in about three weeks.

Short nails, tied hair, clay-tolerant clothes — we supply the rest Ask About Dates
